How it works
Find your profile
Your business may already be listed. If it isn't, contact us and we'll add it.
Verify who you are
A code sent to the business phone, plus your license number if your trade needs one.
Add your portrait and credentials
A clear head-and-shoulders photo, your specialties and your work history.
Answer homeowners
Questions sent to you arrive by email. You decide what to answer.
Who can become an expert
- You do the work yourself: owner, designer, lead builder or senior technician, not sales.
- You work at an established local business with a public review history.
- You hold a valid license where your work needs one.
Free profile or enhanced profile
Both get the same treatment in every list.
A basic profile is free and always will be. Enhanced profiles add photos and project details; they change presentation, never position.
Questions from professionals
Who should claim the profile: the owner or the person doing the work?
Whoever homeowners will actually talk to about the job. Usually that is the owner, but a lead designer or senior technician can be the expert, as long as the business agrees.
What should I write about my experience?
What you would tell a friend over the fence: how long you have done this work, the jobs you like best, and the questions you wish people asked before hiring. Plain words beat sales copy.
Will claiming my profile move me up the page?
No. Claiming lets you add your portrait, specialties and answers. The order comes from the business record and the checks we could confirm, the same for everyone.
What happens when a homeowner sends me a question?
It arrives by email with their project details, and only because they ticked your name. You decide whether and how to answer.
