# Terms of use

Please read these before using the site or sending a question to an expert.

Last reviewed October 29, 2026

Draft Draft, to be reviewed before launch.

## Expert pages

Who is featured follows our published method and public data. Ratings are for businesses, not individuals. Check important details with the business before you hire.

## Sponsored placements

Paid placements are always labelled and never change who is featured or in what order.

## Questions and quotes

Your message goes only to the experts you choose. Advice online is a starting point, not a substitute for a site visit, and any agreement for work is between you and the business.

Local Expert earns money from enhanced expert profiles, clearly labelled sponsored placements, and when a homeowner chooses to send a quote request. None of these affect who is shown or in what order. Ratings shown are business review averages, last refreshed October 29, 2026. © 2026 Local Expert.
